Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the effect of group guidance services using audio-visual information techniques on self-acceptance among Grade XI AKL students at SMKN 1 Kota Serang for the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employs a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, resulting in 20 students with low self-acceptance. The pre-test results for the experimental group show an average score of 43%, which falls into the low category. After the treatment using group guidance with audio-visual information techniques, the average score increases to 66%, placing it in the moderate category. In contrast, the control group’s pre-test and post-test scores remain relatively unchanged, at 45% and 47%, respectively. The hypothesis was tested using the Mann-Whitney test, which revealed a significant difference in self-acceptance between the experimental and control groups before and after the treatment. The Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001 is lower than 0.05, leading to the acceptance of Ha and the rejection of Ho. Thus, the results demonstrate that group guidance services using audio-visual information techniques have a significant effect on the self-acceptance of Grade XI AKL students at SMKN 1 Kota Serang for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive sampling, dan mendapatkan 20 siswa yang memilki self acceptance rendah. Hasil pre-test kelompok eksperimen rata-rata berada pada nilai 43%, yaitu berada pada kategori rendah. Sedangkan setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik informasi audio visual nilai rata-ratanya adalah 66% yaitu berada pada kategori sedang. Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol hasil dari nilai pre-test dan post-testnya tidak terlalu mengalami perubahan yang tinggi yaitu pada angka 45% dan 47%. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji Mann Whitney , terdapat perbedaan self acceptance siswa sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan dari kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik informasi audio visual. Dengan hasil Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 lebih rendah dari 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik informasi audio visual terhadap self acceptance siswa kelas XI AKL SMK Negeri 1 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2024/2025. | |||||||||
