Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of a learning media Physics Parameter Monitoring System (PPMs) of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide in educating air pollution in global warming subjects. This type of research is included in Research and Development (R&D) research with the Thiagarajan 4D development model consisting of the Define, Design, Development and Disseminate stages. The learning media products developed are IoT-based teaching aids and Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Problem Based Learning (PBL). Data collection techniques use product feasibility test sheets, student response questionnaires and air pollution education sheets. The learning media feasibility test data were analyzed descriptively based on the product development feasibility test using a Likert scale of 1-5. The results of the study showed that the developed learning media was feasible with the overall product developed obtaining an average value of 4.44 with a very feasible category and the results of the student response questionnaire obtained an average value of 4.36 with a very good category. Based on the data interpretation, it can be concluded that the Physics Parameter Monitoring System (PPMs) learning media for carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide is very suitable for use in physics subjects on global warming material

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran Physics Parameter Monitoring System (PPMs) karbon monoksida dan karbon dioksida dalam mengedukasi polusi udara pada mata pelajaran pemanasan global. Jenis penelitian ini termmasuk dalam penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Thiagarajan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap Define, Design, Development dan Disseminate. Produk media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah Alat peraga berbasis IoT dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar uji kelayakan produk, angket respon peserta didik dan lembar teredukasi akan polusi udara. Data uji kelayakan media pembelajaran dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan uji kelayakan pengembangan produk dengan menggunakan skala likert 1-5. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak dengan keseluruhan produk yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,44 dengan kategori sangat layak dan hasil angket respon peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,36 dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan interpretasi data dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Physics Parameter Monitoring System (PPMs) karbon monoksida dan karbon dioksida sangat layak digunakan pada mata pelajaran fisika materi pemanasan global.
