Abstract

Human life is very dependent on the progress and sophistication of today’s technological world which makes work easier, one of which is facial detection. Linear Discriminant Analysiso or LDA for short is a statictical technique used for classification and dimension reduction. The LDA method is a face detection method that is tested based on the level of facial recognition accuracy and based on the Fisher criterion to get better accuracy value. One of the software that can be used for facial recognition is MATLAB. To conduct the research, namely taking several faces of students of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University Voactional Education Electrical Engineering as image data for processing the level of accuracy. In processing the level of accuracy of facial images, there are 2 groups, namely training data used to train the model to recognize certain classes based on features and test data used to test the ability pf the trained model to recognize classes well on new images. The number of image data used for processing the level of facial image accuracy is 25 stident face data and there are 2 data, namely training data and test data, the results were tested on 250 training data for each student’s face 10 images with an accuracy results of 96,4% while on the test data as much as 125 for aech students’s face 5 images with an accuracy results of 100%.

Additional Information: Kehidupan manusia sangat bergantung pada kemajuan dan kecanggihan dunia teknologi saat ini yang membuat pekerjaan menjadi lebih mudah salah satunya deteksi wajah. Linear Discriminant Analysis atau disingkat LDA adalah teknik statistik yang digunakan untuk klasifikasi dan pengurangan dimensi. Metode LDA adalah metode deteksi wajah yang diuji berdasarkan tingkat akurasi pengenalan wajah dan berdasarkan kriteria Fisher untuk mendapatkan nilai akurasi yang lebih baik. Salah satu software yang bisa digunakan pengenalan wajah adalah MATLAB. Untuk melakukan penelitian yaitu mengambil beberapa wajah mahasiswa Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Elektro sebagai data citra pegolahanan tingkat akurasi. Dalam pengolahan tingkat akurasi citra wajah terdapat 2 kelompok yaitu data latih digunakan untuk melatih model untuk mengenali kelas tertentu berdasarkan fitur fitur dan data uji digunakan menguji kemampuan model yang telah dilatih untuk mengenali kelas dengan baik pada citra baru. Jumlah data citra yang digunakan untuk pengolahan tingkat akurasi citra wajah sebanyak 25 data wajah mahasiswa dan terdapat 2 data yaitu data latih dan data uji. Hasil dilakukan pengujian pada data latih sebanyak 250 tiap wajah mahasiswa 10 citra dengan hasil akurasi 96% sedangkan pada data uji sebanyak 125 tiap wajah mahasiswa 5 citra dengan hasil akurasi 100%.
