Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) Strengthening character education in scouting extracurricular activities at SMK Ash Shoheh 1 Bogor Regency. (2) The results of the formation of Pancasila student profiles through scouting extracurricular activities at SMK Ash Shoheh 1 Bogor Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The data sources used are primary data from interviews with 1 principal, 1 scout leader, and 10 students, as well as secondary data in the form of relevant documents, such as SKU pencak silat books, attendance lists, scout activity reports, and documentation of scout activities. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicate that (1) strengthening character education in scouting extracurricular activities at SMK Ash-Shoheh 1 Bogor Regency has been implemented well. This is evidenced by the commitment and active role of the principal and Scout leaders in fostering, guiding, and instilling character values in students. (2) The results of the formation of the Pancasila student profile through extracurricular scouting activities show good development. This is proven by the positive changes in students in accordance with the indicators of the Pancasila student profile dimensions, namely having faith and devotion to God Almighty and having noble morals, global diversity, working together, being independent, thinking critically, and being creative.

Additional Information: Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Penguatan pendidikan karakter pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka di SMK Ash Shoheh 1 Kabupaten Bogor. (2) Hasil pembentukan profil pelajar Pancasila melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka di SMK Ash Shoheh 1 Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dari wawancara 1 kepala sekolah, 1 pembina pramuka, dan 10 peserta didik, serta data sekunder berupa dokumen yang relevan, seperti buku SKU penegak, daftar hadir, laporan kegiatan pramuka, dan dokumentasi kegiatan pramuka. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, serta kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) penguatan pendidikan karakter pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka di SMK Ash-Shoheh 1 Kabupaten Bogor telah terlaksana dengan baik. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui komitmen dan peran aktif kepala sekolah serta pembina Pramuka dalam membina, membimbing, dan menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter kepada peserta didik. (2) hasil pembentukan profil pelajar Pancasila melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka menunjukkan perkembangan yang baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya perubahan positif pada diri peserta didik sesuai dengan indikator dimensi profil pelajar Pancasila, yaitu beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa serta berakhlak mulia, berkebhinekaan global, bergotong royong, mandiri, bernalar kritis, dan kreatif.
