Abstract

This study aims to develop a mathematical literacy test instrumen with the Teaching at the Right Level approach in the Merdeka curriculum for grade VIII junior high school students. This research is included in the type of Research and Development research with the ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this research were 66 8th grade students at SMP Negeri 10 Kota Serang. This development research produced 6 questions of mathematical literacy test instrumens with the TaRL approach and two cognitive levels used, namely high and low cognitive levels. The results of this study indicate that the instrumens developed meet the valid and reliable categories, so the instrumens are feasible and consistent to use. In addition, this study shows the results of mathematical literasy skills of junior hight scholl students in grade VIII are quite good.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes kemampuan literasi matematis dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level di kurikulum Merdeka untuk siswa SMP kelas VIII. Penenlitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian Research and Development dengan model penelitian ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah 66 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 10 Kota Serang. Dari penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan 6 soal instrumen tes kemampuan literasi matematis dengan pendekatan TaRL dan dua level kognitif yang digunakan, yaitu level kognitif tinggi dan rendah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang dikembangkan memenuhi kategori valid dan reliabel, sehingga instrumen layak dan konsisten untuk digunakan. Selain itu, penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil kemampuan literasi matematis siswa SMP kelas VIII tergolong cukup baik.
