Abstract

The increasingly developing era demands companies to always adapt to modern technological developments. This study aims to determine the strategy carried out by the corporate communication division of PT Aerotrans Services Indonesia in terms of maintaining the company's image. Instagram social media is a platform chosen by the corporate communication division to publish all activities carried out by the company. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations and documentation. This study is based on the Cutlip & Center public relations management approach which is divided into fact finding, planning, communicating and evaluation stages. The results of this study are at the fact finding stage, the corporate communication division conducted research by means of FGD, surveys and internal meetings. At the planning stage, the corporate communication division compiles work programs, manages negative issues and social media. At the communicating stage, the corporate communication division chooses Instagram as a medium for delivering messages. Finally, at the evaluation stage, the corporate communication division monitors divisions, analyzes social media and collects internal & external feedback. In this study, Instagram is considered the most relevant media in terms of maintaining the company's image.

Additional Information: Zaman yang semakin berkembang menuntut perusahaan untuk selalu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi yang modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang dilakukan oleh divisi corporate communication PT Aerotrans Services Indonesia dalam hal mempertahankan citra perusahaan. Media sosial instagram merupakan platform yang dipilih divisi corporate communication untuk mempublikasikan segala kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini didasari oleh pendekatan manajemen public relation Cutlip & Center yang terbagi menjadi tahap fact finding, planning, communicating dan evaluation. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pada tahap fact finding, divisi corporate communication melakukan riset dengan cara FGD, survey dan rapat internal. Pada tahap planning, divisi corporate communication melakukan penyusunan program kerja, pengelolaan isu negatif dan media sosial. Pada tahap communicating, divisi corporate communication memilih instagram sebagai media penyampaian pesan. Terakhir, pada tahap evaluation, divisi corporate communication melakukan monitoring divisi, analisis media sosial dan pengumpulan feedback internal & eksternal. Dalam penelitian ini, instagram dinilai sebagai media yang paling relevan dalam hal mempertahankan citra perusahaan.
