Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of employee engagement on employee performance, the effect of employee engagement on job satisfaction, the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance, as well as to find out whether job satisfaction can mediate the relationship between employee engagement and employee performance. The research method used in this study is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection methods in this study were carried out through document studies, interviews, and questionnaire distribution. The population in this study consists of all employees at the Secretariat Office of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Serang City, with a sample of 95 respondents. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The instrument testing in this study was conducted on 30 non-respondents through validity and reliability tests using Smart PLS 4.1.2. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of Smart PLS 4.1.2. The results of this study show that: (1) Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (3) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (4) Job satisfaction is able to mediate the relationship between employee engagement and employee performance.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh employee engagement terhadap kinerja pegawai, pengaruh employee engagement terhadap kepuasan kerja, pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai serta untuk mengetahui apakah kepuasan kerja dapat memediasi hubungan antara employee engagement terhadap kinerja pegawai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskripsitf. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini diambil melalui studi dokumen, wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada Kantor Sekretariat DPRD Kota Serang dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 95 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu Random Sampling. Uji instrument dalam penelitian ini dilakukann terhadap 30 non-responden melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan Smart PLS 4.1.2. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Strucutural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan menggunakan Smart PLS 4.1.2. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Employee Engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai, (2) Employee Engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, (3) Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai, (4) Kepuasan Kerja mampu memediasi hubungan antara Employee Engagement terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. | |||||||||
