Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying is still a significant problem, including in boarding school-based education environments such as Islamic boarding schools. Students often experience verbal and relational bullying that is packaged in social interactions and senior-junior relationships. This study aims to determine the effect of the ludo bullying game media on the understanding of bullying in adolescents. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The subjects of the study were grade VII students at the Sahid Modern Islamic Boarding School in Bogor. The data collection technique used a bullying understanding scale questionnaire, which had been validated by experts. Data analysis was carried out using the N-Gain and Mann-Whitney U tests. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the level of understanding of bullying before and after treatment was given to the experimental group. This finding indicates that the ludo bullying game media is effective in increasing adolescents' understanding of bullying. The implication of this study is the importance of media innovation in group guidance services to educate adolescents about bullying as part of preventive efforts.

Additional Information: Fenomena perundungan atau bullying masih menjadi masalah signifikan, termasuk di lingkungan pendidikan berbasis boarding school seperti pondok pesantren. Santri sering kali megalami perundungan verbal dan relasional yang dikemas dalam interaksi sosial dan relasi senior-junior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media permainan ludo bullying terhadap pemahaman perundungan pada remaja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah santri kelas VII di Pondok Pesantren Modern Sahid Bogor. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala pemahaman perundungan, yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji N-Gain dan Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara tingkat pemahaman perundungan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan pada kelompok eksperimen serta perbedaan peningkatan pemahaman kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan media permainan ludo bullying dan kelompok kontrol dengan metode ceramah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media permainan ludo bullying efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman remaja tentang perundungan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya inovasi media dalam layanan bimbingan kelompok untuk mengedukasi remaja mengenai perundungan sebagai bagian dari upaya preventif.
