Abstract

The diverse mathematical communication abilities of students require learning media that can provide feedback to assess these abilities. Learning media such as technology-supported worksheets (E-LKPD) and educational games can create an engaging learning experience due to their various features and real-time feedback. Therefore, interactive E-LKPD integrated with game is considered effective in providing feedback to assess students’ mathematical communication abilities. This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility of an interactive E-LKPD integrated with Scratch games to assess junior high school students’ mathematical communication abilities. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection techniques included observations, interviews, material and media validation questionnaires, and student perception questionnaires. The research involved 33 ninth-grade junior high school students. The results of expert validation indicated that the interactive E-LKPD integrated with Scratch games was valid, with a validity score of 85,95%. Practicality test based on student perceptions indicated practice with a score of 87,72%. Effectiveness was demonstrated by a student mastery rate of 66,67% in completing the interactive E-LKPD integrated with Scratch games. These findings indicate that the interactive E-LKPD integrated with Scratch games is suitable for use in junior high school mathematics instruction.

Additional Information: Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang beragam membutuhkan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan umpan balik untuk mengukur kemampuan komunikasi matematis tersebut. Penggunaan media pembelajaran seperti lembar kerja yang didukung teknologi (E-LKPD) dan game edukatif dapat menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan karena variasi fitur dan pemberian umpan balik secara langsung. Sehingga penggunaan E-LKPD yang terintegrasi game dinilai efektif dalam memberikan umpan balik kepada siswa untuk mengukur kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan E-LKPD interaktif yang terintegrasi dengan game Scratch untuk mengukur kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket validasi materi dan media, dan angket persepsi siswa. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 33 siswa kelas IX SMP. Hasil uji validasi ahli media dan ahli materi E-LKPD interaktif integrasi game Scratch untuk mengukur kemampuan komunikasi matematis dinyatakan valid dengan persentase 85,95%. Hasil uji kepraktisan menunjukkan E-LKPD interaktif integrasi game Scratch praktis berdasarkan persepsi siswa dengan persentase 87,72%. Hasil uji keefektifan menunjukkan efektif berdasarkan tingkat ketuntasan siswa sebesar 66,67% dalam mengerjakan E-LKPD interaktif integrasi game Scratch. Ini menunjukkan E-LKPD interaktif integrasi game Scratch layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika SMP.
