Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Serang. This research uses quantitative research methods with a one group pretest-posttest pre-experiment design. Data collection was carried out through test instruments and questionnaires. The research sample amounted to 40 students of class XI IPS 4 at SMAN 1 Serang. The results showed that the application of the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model by utilizing the padlet website had a positive effect on student learning outcomes. The results of the test instrument analysis using paired sample t-test, showed the significance value in the prostest period obtained a significance value of 0.002 <0.05, which means if there is an influence of the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model by utilizing the padlet website on student learning outcomes. The results of the questionnaire instrument analysis show the coefficient of determination of 0.300, which can be categorized into enough which means that if 30% of the learning outcome variables can be explained by the learning model, while the remaining 70% is explained by other factors. It can be concluded that the application model of the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model by utilizing the padlet website has a positive influence on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre experiment one group pretest-posttest. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui instrument test dan kuisioner angket. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 peserta didik kelas XI IPS 4 di SMAN 1 Serang. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika pada penerapan model pembelajaran Giving Question and Getting Answer dengan memanfaatkan website padlet memberikan pengaruh positif pada hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil analisis instrument test dengan menggunakan paired sample t-test, menunjukkan nilai signifikansi pada periode prostest diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002 <0,05, yang berarti jika terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran Giving Question and Getting Answer dengan memanfaatkan website padlet terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil analisis instrument angket menunjukkan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,300, dapat dikategorikan kedalam cukup yang memiliki arti jika 30% variable hasil belajar dapat dijelaskan oleh model pembelajaran, sementara 70% sisanya dijelaskan oleh factor lain. Dapat disimpulkan jika model penerapan model pembelajaran pembelajaran Giving Question and Getting Answer dengan memanfaatkan website padlet memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKN.
