Abstract
Background: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) was a progressive and irreversible decline in kidney function, causing disturbances in metabolism, fluid, and electrolyte balance. One of the main therapies for CKD patients was hemodialysis; however, this procedure often led to post-dialysis fatigue, partly due to complications such as anemia. Anemia, characterized by low hemoglobin levels, impaired oxygen transport in the body, contributing to fatigue and reduced patients' quality of life. Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between hemoglobin levels and the level of fatigue after hemodialysis in CKD patients at RSUD Provinsi Banten. Methods: This research employed a correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was total sampling involving 64 respondents. Hemoglobin data were obtained from medical records, while fatigue levels were measured using the Post-Dialysis Fatigue (PDF) questionnaire. Data were analyzed using univariate (frequency, percentage) and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test. Results: The Chi-Square test showed a p= 1,000 > α (0,05), indicating no significant relationship between hemoglobin levels and fatigue levels. Conclusion: There was no significant relationship between hemoglobin levels and post-hemodialysis fatigue in CKD patients at RSUD Provinsi Banten.

| Additional Information: | Latar belakang: Gagal Ginjal Kronik (GGK) merupakan kondisi penurunan fungsi ginjal progresif yang bersifat permanen dan menyebabkan gangguan metabolisme, keseimbangan cairan, serta elektrolit. Salah satu terapi utama bagi pasien GGK adalah hemodialisis, namun prosedur ini sering menimbulkan kelelahan pasca dialisis, salah satunya akibat komplikasi anemia. Anemia yang ditandai dengan kadar hemoglobin rendah, mengganggu transportasi oksigen dalam tubuh, sehingga berkontribusi terhadap kelelahan dan menurunkan kualitas hidup pasien. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kadar hemoglobin dengan tingkat kelelahan pasca hemodialisis pada pasien GGK di RSUD Provinsi Banten. Metode: Desain penelitian ini menggunakan analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik sampling total sampling dengan jumlah 64 responden. Data kadar hemoglobin diperoleh dari rekam medis, sedangkan tingkat kelelahan diukur menggunakan kuesioner Post-Dialysis Fatigue (PDF). Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat (frekuensi, persentase) dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Uji Chi-Square menghasilkan p= 1,000 > α (0,05), menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara kadar hemoglobin dengan tingkat kelelahan. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kadar hemoglobin dan kelelahan pasca hemodialisis pada pasien GGK di RSUD Provinsi Banten. | |||||||||
