Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of job insecurity and job stress on turnover intention, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research was conducted at PT. Wildwood, Cikande, Serang Regency, using a quantitative approach and data collected through questionnaires from 105 respondents. The independent variables in this study are job insecurity and job stress, the dependent variable is turnover intention, and the mediating variable is job satisfaction. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS software. The results indicate that job insecurity and job stress have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Additionally, both variables negatively and significantly affect job satisfaction, which in turn negatively and significantly influences turnover intention. Job satisfaction is proven to significantly mediate the relationship between job insecurity and turnover intention, as well as between job stress and turnover intention. These findings highlight the importance of fostering a stable and supportive work environment to reduce employees’ intention to leave the company, by enhancing job satisfaction and managing work-related stress and insecurity.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh ketidakamanan kerja (job insecurity) dan stres kerja terhadap niat keluar (turnover intention), dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian dilakukan di PT. Wildwood, Cikande, Kabupaten Serang, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 105 responden. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah ketidakamanan kerja dan stres kerja, variabel dependen adalah niat keluar, dan variabel mediasi adalah kepuasan kerja. Data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketidakamanan kerja dan stres kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat keluar. Selain itu, kedua variabel tersebut berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, yang selanjutnya berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap niat keluar. Kepuasan kerja terbukti secara signifikan memediasi hubungan antara ketidakamanan kerja dan niat keluar, serta antara stres kerja dan niat keluar. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang stabil dan mendukung untuk mengurangi niat karyawan untuk meninggalkan perusahaan, dengan meningkatkan kepuasan kerja serta mengelola stres dan ketidakamanan dalam pekerjaan. | |||||||||
