Abstract

The aim of this study is to The Effect of Box Jump Training on Increasing Limb Muscle Strength in Skilled Level Soccer Athletes. Based on observations, several obstacles were found in the team, such as imperfect passing and dribbling techniques and physical fatigue, especially in the leg muscles. This experimental research uses a one group pretest-posttest design with a sample of 30 athletes who meet certain criteria. The results of the study are expected to provide information on the effectiveness of box jump training in increasing leg muscle strength in soccer athletes, so that it can be recommended in the training program to improve team performance. The instrument used in this study isthe standing box jump. The results of the increase in leg muscles using the box jump training method are 30%, indicating that this training method has equivalent benefits in increasing leg muscle strength in soccer athletes.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji Pengaruh Latihan Box Jump Terhadap Peningkatan Kekuatan Otot Tungkai Pada Atlet Sepak Bola Tingkat Terampil. Berdasarkan observasi, ditemukan beberapa kendala pada tim, seperti teknik passing dan dribble yang belum sempurna serta kelelahan fisik, terutama pada otot tungkai. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan desain One grup Pretest-Posttest Design dengan sampel sebanyak 30 atlet yang memenuhi kriteria tertentu. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi mengenai efektivitaslatihan box jump dalam meningkatkan kekuatan otot tungkai atletsepak bola, sehingga dapat menjadi rekomendasi dalam program latihan untuk meningkatkan performa tim. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu standing board jump. Hasil peningkatan otot tungkai dengan menggunakan metode latihan box jump adalah sebesar 30% menunjukan bahwa metode latihan ini memiliki manfaat yang setara dalam meningkatkan kekuatan otot tungkai pada atlet sepak bola.
