Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the effect of work discipline (X1) and competence (X2) on employee performance (Y) through job satisfaction (Z) among midwives at Dr. Drajat Prawiranegara Regional General Hospital. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The population in this study consists of 75 employees. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample, where the entire population is taken as the sample, totaling 75 respondents. Data analysis in this study was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.0 analysis tool. Based on the hypothesis testing results in this study, the findings are as follows: 1.Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 2. Competence has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. 3.Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. 4.Competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. 5.Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 6.Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance when mediated by job satisfaction. 7.Competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance when mediated by job satisfaction.

Additional Information: Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja (X1) dan kompetensi (X2) terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) melalui kepuasan kerja (Z) pada Bidan di RSUD Dr. Drajat Prawiranegara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriftif. populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 75 orang karyawan. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu sampel jenuh dimana semua populasi dijadikan sampel, yaitu sebanyak 75 orang. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan alat analisis SmartPLS 4.0. Berdasarkan hasil hipotesis yang diuji pada penelitian ini. Bahwa (1) disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan siginifikan terhadap kinerja Karyawan.(2) kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.(3) disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja.(4)kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja(5) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.(6) Disiplin Kerja Berpengaruh positif dan signifikanm terhadap kinerja karyawan apabila di mediasi oleh kepuasan kerja.(7) Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan apabila di mediasi oleh kepuasan kerja.
