Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the equality education program implemented at the Saffari Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM), Serang City, using the Countenance Stake evaluation model. This evaluation includes analysis of three main aspects, namely planning (antecedents), implementation (transactions), and results (outcomes). The method used in this research is a qualitative, evaluative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the head of PKBM, tutors, and students. The population in this study includes all participants in the equality education program at PKBM Saffari, Serang City. The sampling was carried out purposively with the aim of obtaining in-depth information regarding program implementation. The instruments used in this research include interview guides, observation sheets, and document analysis. The research results show that the equality education program at PKBM Saffari, Serang City has been running quite well, especially in the planning and implementation aspects. However, there are several challenges, such as limited laboratory facilities and the need to increase effectiveness in learning evaluation. Graduates of this program still face difficulties in achieving the specified competency standards. Therefore, corrective steps are needed in the provision of facilities and infrastructure, as well as improving the quality of teaching so that equality education programs can function more optimally

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap program pendidikan kesetaraan yang dilaksanakan di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Saffari, Kota Serang, dengan menggunakan model evaluasi Countenance Stake. Evaluasi ini mencakup analisis tiga aspek utama, yaitu perencanaan (antecedents), pelaksanaan (transactions), dan hasil (outcomes). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat evaluatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala PKBM, tutor, dan peserta didik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup seluruh peserta program pendidikan kesetaraan di PKBM Saffari, Kota Serang. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara purposive dengan tujuan mendapatkan informasi yang mendalam mengenai pelaksanaan program. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendidikan kesetaraan di PKBM Saffari Kota Serang telah berjalan dengan cukup baik, khususnya pada aspek perencanaan dan pelaksanaan. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas laboratorium dan perlunya peningkatan efektivitas dalam evaluasi pembelajaran. Lulusan dari program ini masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam mencapai standar kompetensi yang ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan langkah-langkah perbaikan dalam penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, serta peningkatan kualitas pengajaran agar program pendidikan kesetaraan dapat berfungsi dengan lebih optimal.
