Abstract
This research aims to analyze the use of digital-based learning media by Vocational High School (SMK) teachers in Serang City. The background to this research is the rapid development of digital technology which is driving learning transformation, but still faces obstacles in terms of infrastructure readiness, teacher competency and access to devices. The main focus of this research is the intensity, proportion and ability of teachers to utilize digital technology as part of efforts to improve the quality of learning. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach with survey techniques through questionnaires and documentation. The research subjects involved 62 productive teachers from SMKN 2 and SMKN 4, Serang City. The data collected was analyzed descriptively to see patterns of digital media use in learning. The research results show that the intensity of digital media use by teachers is relatively high with an average of 70.70%, teachers' ability to utilize digital media reaches an average of 71.42%, with variations in technical mastery and creativity in applying technology. The proportion of digital media use shows that it is 71.04% with the use of computer devices (77.54%) and online messaging platforms (77.34%) as the most frequently used media. This research concludes that integrating digital media can increase learning effectiveness if supported by continuous training, infrastructure improvements and inclusive education policies. It is hoped that these findings can serve as a guide for schools and policy makers in optimizing the use of digital technology for learning.

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital yang mendorong transformasi pembelajaran, namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam hal kesiapan infrastruktur, kompetensi guru, dan akses perangkat. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah intensitas, proporsi, dan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital sebagai bagian dari upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik survei melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 62 guru produktif dari SMKN 2 dan SMKN 4 Kota Serang. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif untuk melihat pola penggunaan media digital dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan media digital oleh guru tergolong tinggi dengan rata-rata 70,70%, kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan media digital mencapai rata-rata 71,42%, dengan variasi dalam penguasaan teknis dan kreativitas penerapan teknologi. Adapun proporsi penggunaan media digital menunjukkan bahwa 71,04% dengan penggunaan perangkat komputer (77,54%) dan platform pesan online (77,34%) sebagai media yang paling sering digunakan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengintegrasian media digital dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran jika didukung oleh pelatihan berkelanjutan, peningkatan infrastruktur, dan kebijakan pendidikan yang inklusif. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan bagi sekolah dan pemangku kebijakan dalam mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pembelajaran. | |||||||||
