Abstract

Chemistry learning now not only emphasizes theoretical concepts, but also links chemistry with real life to develop critical thinking skills, as well as foster social awareness and environmental responsibility in students. One approach that can be used to achieve these goals is to integrate socio scientific issues into learning. The socio-scientific issues approach is closely related to improving critical thinking skills, because it encourages students to analyze, evaluate, and make decisions based on scientific evidence in the context of social problems. In addition, one of the Independent Curriculum materials in Phase E, namely Green Chemistry material, still causes many errors in students, so teaching materials are needed that can support the achievement of these learning objectives. This study aims to produce Student Worksheets Based on Socio Scientific Issues in Green Chemistry Material in Stimulating Students' Critical Thinking Skills. This type of research is development research, with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Data collection techniques use teacher and student needs questionnaire sheets, expert validation sheets, and student response questionnaire sheets. The results of the study indicate that this Student Worksheet meets the valid criteria with a validity score of 0.90. The results of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 86% with the category of "Very Good". Thus, it can be concluded that the Student Worksheet that has been developed is valid and suitable for use in learning.

Additional Information: Pembelajaran kimia kini tidak hanya menekankan konsep teoritis, tetapi juga mengaitkan ilmu kimia dengan kehidupan nyata untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta menumbuhkan kesadaran sosial dan tanggung jawab lingkungan pada peserta didik. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah dengan mengintegrasikan socio scientific issues dalam pembelajaran. Pendekatan socio scientific issues memiliki keterkaitan erat dengan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, karena mendorong peserta didik untuk menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan membuat keputusan berdasarkan bukti ilmiah dalam konteks permasalahan sosial. Selain itu, salah satu materi Kurikulum Merdeka pada Fase E, yaitu materi Kimia Hijau ternyata masih banyak menimbulkan kekeliruan pada peserta didik, sehingga diperlukan bahan ajar yang dapat mendukung ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Berbasis Socio Scientific Issues pada Materi Kimia Hijau dalam Menstimulus Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik, lembar validasi ahli, dan lembar angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD ini memenuhi kriteria valid dengan perolehan validitas sebesar 0,90. Hasil angket respon peserta didik memperoleh persentase sebesar 86% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD yang telah dikembangkan valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
