Abstract
This research covers several important aspects. First, this study will describe the use of Google Sites by teachers in delivering sociology material, including how to present information, interact with students, and use the features available in Google Sites. This research uses an experimental method with a Quasy Experiment design using a two group pre-test post-test only pre-experiment research design. This design is useful in making comparisons between conditions before and after treatment is given. Through giving pre-test (before experimental action) and post-test (after experimental action). This study has a target population of SMAN 9 Tangerang City students with a total population of 36 people from the population taken 2 classes namely X.F (Control Class) and in class X.I (Experiment Class), each class totaling 36 students. The data were analyzed using data analysis technique through Indepedent t-test. The control class (X.F) has an average value of 68.55 based on initial ability data, while the experimental class (X.I) has an average value of 67.83. The significant conclusion of the study states that H0 is rejected or there is an influence on the sociology learning outcomes of grade X students as a result of using Google Sites-based media. The experimental class (X.I) had a post-test score of 76.93 after receiving treatment using Google Sites media, while the control class (X.F) had a score of 71.72 after receiving treatment using PowerPoint media. This study showed a tcount of 2.22 and a 1-way t table of 1.67 and a 2-way t table of 1.99. The improvement of students' sociology learning outcomes at SMAN 9 Tangerang was influenced by the utilization of Google Sites-based media.
