Abstract
This study aims to describe; (1) Intrinsic elements, (2) Profeminist figures, (3) Counterfeminist figures, (4) Stereotypes of women in the Gadis Kretek novel, and (5) Dasiyah’s role in the kretek business contained in the Gadis Kretek novel by Ratih Kumala. The theory used is Sugihastuti and Suharto’s theory regarding feminist literary criticism. The method used is a qualitative research method. Checking the validity of data using source triangulation techniques. The approach used is a feminist literary criticism approach in the from of reading as a woman. The technique used is the content study technique. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The research data used are qualitative data such as word, phrases, and sentences contained in the Gadis Kretek novel by Ratih Kumala. The data is then classified according to the data related to feminist literary criticism. In relation to the analysis that the researcher has conducted, the result of the study were obtained, nomely 40 data divided into 12 data on profeminist figures, 3 data on counterfeminist figures, 14 data on stereotypes of women in the Gadis Kretek novel, and 11 data on Dasiyah’s role in the kretek business.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan; (1) Unsur instrinsik, (2) Tokoh profeminis, (3) Tokoh kontrafeminis, (4) Steorotipe perempuan novel Gadis Kretek, dan (5) Peran Dasiyah dalam usaha kretek yang terdapat dalam novel Gadis Kretek karya Ratih Kumala. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori Sugihastuti dan Suharto mengenai kritik sastra feminis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kritik sastra feminis berupa membaca sebagai perempuan. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik kajian isi. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Data penelitian yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif seperti kata, ungkapan, maupun kalimat yang terdapat dalam novel Gadis Kretek karya Ratih Kumala. Data tersebut selanjutnya diklasifikasikan sesuai dengan data yang berkaitan mengenai kritik sastra feminis. Berkaitan dengan analisis yang telah peneliti lakukan didapatkan hasil penelitian, yakni 40 data yang terbagi ke dalam 12 data tokoh profeminis, 3 data tokoh kontrafeminis, 14 data steorotipe perempuan novel Gadis Kretek, dan 11 data peran Dasiyah dalam usaha kretek. | |||||||||
