Abstract
History of the Development of Baduy Village Settlement are the main focus of this research. The aim of the research is to describe the history of the Baduy community settlement in Cipangembar Village and to understand the social, economic and religious life of the Baduy Settlement community in Cipangembar Village. This research method uses a historical method with stages of topic selection, source collection, verification, interpretation and historiography. The analysis in this research uses the theory of social change put forward by Selo Soemardjan and Soerjono Soekanto. This theory is used as a method for analyze the history of social, economic, and religious changes in the Baduy Settlement community. The research results show that Cipangembar Village, Leuwidamar Village, Leuwidamar District, Lebak Regency, West Java is the first Baduy Settlement village built by the government. The Outer Baduy community who took part in the Pembinaan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Terasing (PKMT) Program in Cipangembar Village succeeded in improving their standard of living. The guidance provided by the government is the main factor in increasing their standard of living. These guidiance are also the cause of social, economic, and religious changes in the Baduy Settlement community.

| Additional Information: | Sejarah Perkembangan Kampung Baduy Pemukiman menjadi fokus utama penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan sejarah pemukiman masyarakat Baduy di Kampung Cipangembar dan menjelaskan kehidupan sosial, ekonomi, dan agama masyarakat Baduy Pemukiman di Kampung Cipangembar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode historis dengan tahapan pemilihan topik, pengumpulan sumber, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori perubahan sosial yang dikemukakan oleh Selo Soemardjan dan Soerjono Soekanto. Teori ini digunakan sebagai alat analisa sejarah perubahan sosial, ekonomi, dan agama pada masyarakat Baduy Pemukiman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Kampung Cipangembar, Desa Leuwidamar, Kecamatan Leuwidamar, Kabupaten Lebak, Jawa Barat merupakan kampung Baduy Pemukiman pertama yang dibangun oleh pemerintah. Masyarakat Baduy Luar yang mengikuti Program Pembinaan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Terasing (PKMT) di Kampung Cipangembar berhasil memperbaiki taraf kehidupannya. Pembinaan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah menjadi faktor utama naiknya taraf kesejahteraan hidup mereka. Pembinaan-pembinaan tersebut juga menjadi penyebab terjadinya perubahan sosial, ekonomi, dan agama pada masyarakat Baduy Pemukiman. | |||||||||
