Abstract
This research aims to determine the strategies used by teachers in facing the challenges of learning history during the COVID-19 pandemic at Al-Qona'ah High School, Pandeglang Regency. The pandemic has forced the education system to shift to distance learning, changing the traditional way learning is conducted. Using a qualitative approach, this research involved in-depth interviews with a number of teachers as the main data source. Research findings show that teachers are adopting a variety of strategies to overcome these challenges, including integration of information technology in teaching, development of relevant and adaptive materials, and personalized approaches to increase student engagement and understanding. The implications of this research are to provide practical guidance for teachers and other schools in facing and overcoming similar problems in the future, as well as contributing a deeper understanding of learning adaptation in the midst of a global crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran sejarah selama pandemi COVID-19 di SMA Al-Qona’ah, Kabupaten Pandeglang. Pandemi ini telah memaksa sistem pendidikan untuk beralih ke pembelajaran jarak jauh, yang mengubah cara tradisional pembelajaran dilaksanakan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan sejumlah guru sebagai sumber data utama. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para guru mengadopsi berbagai strategi untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, termasuk integrasi teknologi informasi dalam pengajaran, pengembangan materi yang relevan dan adaptif, serta pendekatan personalisasi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan panduan praktis bagi guru dan sekolah lain dalam menghadapi dan mengatasi masalah serupa di masa mendatang, serta menyumbangkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang adaptasi pembelajaran di tengah krisis global seperti pandemi COVID-19. | |||||||||
