Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) How barista training forms entrepreneurial independence of students in Non-Formal Education Units (SPNF) Learning Activity Center (SKB) in Serang City. (2) How are the results of the formation of entrepreneurial independence of participants who have participated in barista training in Non-Formal Education Units (SPNF) Learning Activity Center (SKB) in Serang City. (3) supporting and inhibiting factors of barista training in forming entrepreneurial independence of students in Non-Formal Education Units (SPNF) Learning Activity Center (SKB) in Serang City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The sources in this study consisted of 8 informants consisting of the head of SKB, instructors and learners or training participants. The results of the study indicate that (1) barista training in forming entrepreneurial independence has been running well through the stages of planning, organizing, mobilizing, coaching, assessment, and development. (2) the results of the formation of entrepreneurial independence of participants at SPNF SKB Serang City show the characteristics of good entrepreneurial independence even though not all participants have their own businesses due to capital factors. (3) supporting factors for barista training at SPNF SKB Serang City include motivation within participants and instructors, facilities and infrastructure, instructor attitudes, and support from others. While inhibiting factors for barista training include participant discipline and finances in starting a business.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana pelatihan barista dalam membentuk kemandirian berwirausaha warga belajar di Satuan Pendidikan Non Formal (SPNF) Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Kota Serang. (2) Bagaimana hasil pembentukan kemandirian berwirausaha para peserta yang telah mengikuti pelatihan barista di Satuan Pendidikan Non Formal (SPNF) Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Kota Serang. (3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelatihan barista dalam membentuk kemandirian berwirausaha warga belajar di Satuan Pendidikan Non Formal (SPNF) Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 8 informan yang terdiri dari kepala SKB, Instruktur dan warga belajar atau peserta pelatihan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelatihan barista dalam membentuk kemandirian berwirausaha sudah berjalan dengan baik melalui tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, pembinaan, penilaian, serta pengembangan. (2) hasil pembentukan kemandirian berwirausaha para peserta di SPNF SKB Kota Serang menunjukkan adanya ciri-ciri kemandirian berwirausaha yang baik walaupun belum semua peserta memiliki usahanya sendiri karena faktor modal. (3) faktor pendukung pelatihan barista di SPNF SKB Kota Serang meliputi motivasi dalam diri peserta dan instruktur, sarana dan prasarana, sikap instruktur, dan dukungan orang lain. Sedangkan faktor penghambat pelatihan barista meliputi kedisiplinan peserta dan keuangan dalam memulai berwirausaha.
