Abstract

Liquid Ligno P-100 is one of superplasticizer type polycarbonate ethers pure that has the ability for accelerator and HR water reducer or superplasticizer. In this research, liquid Ligno P-100 will be mixing with Silica Fume as the admixture manufacture of concrete. Silica Fume, as known as microsilica, is the result of substraction high purity quartz with coke on electric furnace in production of silicon and composite of ferrosilicon. In terms of mechanical characteristic, silica fume filling the cavity between grain of cement geometrically, and involve pore size distribution be smaller and pore volume also reduced. This research plan to high-quality concrete admixture using Portland Composite Cement (PCC) and HR-WR Ligno P-100 and added material Silica Fume with variations in dose 1% Ligno P100 and 5% silica fume, 2% Ligno P100 and 5% silica fume, 3% Ligno P100 and 5% silica fume, 4% Ligno P100 and 5% silica fume. The number of test objects as much as 48 pieces, with variations in the concrete age 3 days, 7 days, 14 days and 28 days. The research process is divided into six stages, collecting data basic theory, prepare materials needed, determine the date, testing phase fine and coarse aggregates, mix design. After mix design have done, do the curing to the specimen, and the last step is test the specimen to obtain data compressive strenght. The results of this research said the addition of these additives can affect the ease of workmanship of the concrete and silica fume in this research very affected to the value of concrete strength. The highest value is at the age of 28 days for the concrete using a dose of 4% Ligno and 5% silica fume of 54,04 MPa. Compressive strength of concrete in this research meet the requirements for high quality concrete, and achieve to strong press of the plan. Additional Information: Cairan Ligno P-100 merupakan jenis Superplasticizer tipe polycarbonate ethers murni yang memiliki kemampuan accelerator dan HR-water reducer/superplasticizer. Dalam penelitian ini, cairan Ligno P-100 dicampur dengan Silica Fume sebagai bahan tambah pembuatan beton. Silica fume, juga dikenal sebagai microsilica, adalah hasil dari pengurangan kuarsa kemurnian tinggi dengan kokas pada tungku listrik dalam produksi silikon dan paduan ferrosilicon. Ditinjau dari sifat mekanik, secara geometrikal silica fume mengisi rongga-rongga di antara bahan semen (grain of cement), dan mengakibatkan pore size distribution (diameter pori) mengecil serta total volume pori juga berkurang. Penelitian ini merencanakan beton mutu tinggi dengan menggunakan semen PCC dan HR-WR Ligno P-100 dan Bahan Tambah Silica Fume (SF) dengan variasi dosis 1% Ligno dan 5% SF, 2% Ligno dan 5% SF, 3% Ligno dan 5% SF, 4% Ligno dan 5% SF. Jumlah benda uji sebanyak 48 buah, dengan variasi umur beton 3 hari, 7 hari, 14 hari dan 28 hari. Proses penelitian ini dibagi dalam enam tahapan, mengumpulkan data-data teori dasar, mempersiapkan material, menentukan tanggal penelitian, pengujian agregat, pembuatan benda uji. Setelah benda uji dibuat, lakukan perawatan pada benda uji. Langkah terakhir pengujian benda uji untuk mendapatkan data kuat tekannya. Hasil penelitian menyatakan penambahan zat aditif Ligno P-100 dapat mempengaruhi kemudahan pengerjaan beton dan silica fume berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kuat tekan beton. Nilai kuat tekan tertinggi didapat pada umur 28 hari untuk beton yang menggunakan dosis 4% Ligno dan 5% SF sebesar 54,04 MPa. Kuat tekan beton pada penelitian ini memenuhi persyaratan untuk beton mutu tinggi dan mencapai kuat tekan rencana. Kata Kunci : Ligno P-100, Silica Fume, Portland Composite Cement, Beton Mutu Tinggi
