Abstract
One of the vegetable commodities with the highest economic worth is green mustard greens. Optimizing the usage of fertilizers and planting material can increase the yield of green mustard greens. Plant growth and soil quality may be sustainably enhanced by using rice husk charcoal and goat manure. This research aims to determine the effect of the dose of goat manure fertilizer and a combination of husk charcoal planting media on the growth and yield of green mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). This research was carried out in a private garden in Wanasari Village, Cibeber District, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. This research used a two-factor randomized block design (RAK) consisting of two treatments, namely fertilizer dose and planting media combination with 3 replications. The treatments in this experiment consisted of 3 levels of goat manure fertilizer doses and 3 levels of combination of charcoal, husk and soil planting media with 3 repetitions so that there were 27 experimental units. Each experimental unit is in the form of a polybag. The parameters observed in this research were plant height, number of leaves, main leaf length, main leaf width, plant fresh weight, root length, and root wet weight. The results of the research showed that the dose of goat manure fertilizer had a significant effect on all parameters observed in the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The combination of charcoal husk planting media had no significant influence on all growth and yield observation parameters of green mustard plants (Brassica juncea L.) at all planting ages. There was an interaction between the dose of goat manure fertilizer and the combination of charcoal husk planting media on the parameters for observing the growth of green mustard plants (Brassica juncea L.) on the parameters of number of leaves at 28 DAP, length of main leaves at 28 DAP and 35 DAP, and width of main leaves at age 7 DAP and 21 DAP.

Additional Information: | Salah satu komoditas sayuran yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi adalah sawi hijau. Optimalisasi penggunaan pupuk dan media tanam dapat meningkatkan hasil panen sawi hijau. Pertumbuhan tanaman dan kualitas tanah dapat ditingkatkan secara berkelanjutan dengan menggunakan arang sekam padi dan pupuk kandang kambing. Kotoran kambing dan arang sekam padi digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan perkembangan dan produksi sawi hijau hingga diperoleh dosis pupuk dan rasio media tanam yang ideal. Pada bulan Mei dan Juni tahun 2024, survei ini dilakukan di lahan milik warga Desa Wanasari, Kecamatan Cibeber, Kabupaten Lebak, Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga kali ulangan dan dua variabel dalam rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah dosis kotoran kambing yang terbagi dalam tiga taraf, yaitu 0 g/polybag, 1000 g/polybag, dan 2000 g/polybag. Perbandingan tiga level arang sekam padi 0 g media arang sekam padi dan 2000 g tanah (0:2)/polybag, 1000 g media arang sekam padi dan 1000 g tanah (1:1)/polybag, dan 2000 g media arang sekam padi dan 1000 g tanah (2:1)/polybag adalah faktor kedua. Proses ini diulang tiga kali untuk menghasilkan 27 tanaman. ANOVA dan uji post hoc yang menggunakan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada level 5% digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang daun utama, lebar daun utama, berat tanaman segar, panjang akar, dan berat akar basah adalah karakteristik yang diukur dalam penelitian ini. Dosis pupuk kandang kambing memiliki dampak yang sangat berbeda pada perkembangan sawi hijau di semua kriteria, dengan 1000 g/polybag menjadi jumlah optimal. | |||||||||
