Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations and interviews in the field, namely regarding the influence of interactive video-based learning media on students' interest in learning in the subject of electrical lighting institution class XI at SMKN 4 Kota Serang. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of Video learning media on students' learning interest in learning Electrical Lighting Installation. The method used in this study is a quantitative method of correlation study approach. The population is students of grade XI SMK 4 Serang City, the method of sampling with the sample cluster sampling technique used is 27 samples taken from class XI TITL 2. The data analysis technique used is inferential statistics. The results of the study showed that the correlation test results of the Pearson correlation value obtained 0.424 > 0.311 with a significant 0.027 < 0.05 which means that there is a positive relationship between video media in learning interest. The results of the linear regression test were obtained from the output results, the determination coefficient (R Square) was recorded at 0.180, which means that the influence of the independent variable (Video Media) on the dependent variable (Students' Learning Interest) was 18% and the significance value was 0.027 < 0.05 and the results of the Ttable > Calculation were (2.344 > 1.705), and so that the use of Video media had an effect on students' learning interest

Adapun tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Video terhadap minat belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif pendekatan studi korelasi. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas XI SMK 4 Kota Serang, cara pengmabilan sampel dengan teknik cluster sampling sampel yang digunakan 27 sampel diambil dari kelas XI TITL 2. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistic inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada hasil uji korelasi nilai korelasi pearson memperoleh 0,424 > 0,311 dengan signifikan 0,027 < 0,05 yang berarti ada hubungan postif antara media video dalam minat belajar. Kemuuian hasil uji regresi linear didapatkan dari hasil output, koefisien determinasi (R Square) tercatat sebesar 0,180, yang berarti pengaruh variabel independen (Media Video) terhadap variabel dependen (Minat Belajar peserta didik) adalah sebesar 18% dan nilai signifikansi 0,027 < 0,05 dan hasil Thitung > Ttabel yaitu (2,344 > 1,705), dan sehingga penggunaan media Video berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar peserta didik.
