Abstract

Companies must assess and improve their managerial performance in order to produce products that meet customer satisfaction. This research aims to analyze 1) the influence of Total Quality Management (TQM) on managerial performance, 2) the influence of the performance measurement system on managerial performance and 3) the influence of the reward system on managerial performance. The research was conducted at a shipping company in Cilegon City, with 100 respondents taken as sample units. Data analysis used multiple linear regression processed with SPSS version 25.00. The results of the hypothesis test show that TQM has a significant positive effect on managerial performance, as evidenced by the regression coefficient and t count at sig < 0.05. The performance measurement system has no effect on managerial performance, as evidenced by the regression coefficient and t count at sig > 0.05. The reward system has a significant positive effect on managerial performance, as evidenced by the regression coefficient and t count at sig < 0.05. Together, TQM, performance measurement systems and reward systems have an influence of 92.1% on managerial performance.

Additional Information: Perusahaan harus melakukan penilaian dan perbaikan pada kinerja manajerialnya agar dapat menghasilkan produk yang memenuhi kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa 1) pengaruh Total Quality Management (TQM) terhadap kinerja manajerial, 2) pengaruh sistem pengukuran kinerja terhadap kinerja manajerial dan 3) pengaruh sistem reward terhadap kinerja manajerial. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan pelayaran di Kota Cilegon, dengan jumlah unit sampel diambil 100 orang responden. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda yang diolah dengan SPSS versi 25,00. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa TQM berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja manajerial, dibuktikan oleh koefisien regresi dan t hitung pada sig < 0,05. Sistem pengukuran kinerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja manajerial, dibuktikan oleh koefisien regresi dan t hitung pada sig > 0,05. Sistem reward berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja manajerial, dibuktikan oleh koefisien regresi dan t hitung pada sig < 0,05. Secara bersama-sama, TQM, sistem pengukuran kinerja dan sistem reward memiliki pengaruh sebesar 92,1% terhadap kinerja manajerial.
