Abstract
This research aims to improve the verbal communication of autistic students at SMPKh level at SKh Samantha Serang City, using the help of Rolling Picture learning media. This research is experimental research with a single subject research (SSR) approach with an A-B-A design. The subject in this research was a SMPKh student with autism. The target behavior in this research is the ability to know the use of a place. Data collection techniques were obtained by observation and action tests. The data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis with graphic presentation. Based on the research results, the average result of the ability to know the use of the subject's place in the baseline 1(A1) phase was 41% because this phase was a natural condition before the intervention or treatment was given. In the intervention phase (B), the average data acquisition results were 74,5%. These results were obtained after the subjects received treatment or intervention. Meanwhile, in the baseline 2 (A2) phase, the average data acquisition results were 86,3%. These results were the natural results of the subjects after being given treatment or intervention. From the results of data obtained in this research, it can be concluded that the use of Rolling Picture media for autistic students can improve verbal communication by means of the ability to know the use of places for autistic students at SMPKh level at SKh Samantha, Serang City.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan komunikasi verbal siswa autis jenjang SMPKh di SKh Samantha Kota Serang, dengan menggunakan bantuan media pembelajaran Rolling Picture. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan single subject research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah satu orang siswa SMPKh dengan hambatan autis. Perilaku sasaran dalam penelitian ini yaitu kemampuan mengetahui penggunaan tempat. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan observasi dan tes perbuatan. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dengan penyajian grafik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata hasil kemampuan mengetshui penggunaan tempat subjek pada fase baseline 1 (A1) sebesar 41% dikarenakan fase ini merupakan kondisi alamiah sebelum pemberian intervensi atau perlakuan. Pada fase intervensi (B) rata rata hasil perolehan data sebesar 74,5% hasil tersebut diperoleh setelah subjek mendapatkan perlakuan atau intervensi. Sedangkan pada fase baseline 2 (A2) rata-rata hasil perolehan data sebesar 86,3% hasil tersebut merupakan hasil alamiah subjek setelah diberikan perlakuan atau intervensi. Dari hasil perolehan data pada penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengunaan media Rolling Picture bagi siswa autis dapat meningkatkan komunikasi verbal dengan cara kemampuan mengetahui penggunaan tempat untuk siswa autis jenjang SMPKh di SKh Samantha Kota Serang. | |||||||||
