Abstract
In order for children's development to be optimal, joint efforts are needed to increase children's interest and participation in sports activities. Parents and sports instructors need to work together to create a supportive environment and provide interesting activities so that children are motivated to be active. Outbound activities can create a pleasant atmosphere, allowing children to explore the environment. This study aims to reveal the effect of outbound games in improving gross motor skills of children aged 7-10 years at UPT SD Negeri Kramatwatu 1. The method used in this study was an experiment with a pre-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest). Before the outbound game was carried out, a pretest was conducted to measure the initial condition of the child's gross motor skills, and after the outbound game intervention, a posttest was conducted to measure the development of the child's gross motor skills. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase, with a difference between the pretest and posttest of 27%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that outbound games are effective in improving gross motor skills of children aged 7-10 years, so they can be used as an alternative training method for developing gross motor skills in elementary school children.

| Additional Information: | Agar perkembangan anak optimal, diperlukan upaya bersama untuk meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi anak dalam kegiatan olahraga. Orang tua, dan pembina olahraga perlu bekerja sama untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung dan menyediakan kegiatan yang menarik agar anak-anak termotivasi untuk aktif bergerak. Dengan aktivitas outbound dapat menciptakan atmosfer yang menyenangkan, memungkinkan anak untuk mengeksplor lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh permainan outbound dalam meningkatkan motorik kasar anak usia 7-10 tahun di UPT SD Negeri Kramatwatu 1. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain pra-eksperimental (one group pretest-posttest). Sebelum dilaksanakan permainan outbound, dilakukan pretest untuk mengukur kondisi awal motorik kasar anak, dan setelah intervensi permainan outbound, dilakukan posttest untuk mengukur perkembangan motorik kasar anak. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan, dengan perbedaan selisih antara pretest dan posttest sebesar 27%. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan outbound efektif dalam meningkatkan motorik kasar anak usia 7-10 tahun, sehingga dapat dijadikan alternatif metode latihan untuk pengembangan keterampilan motorik kasar pada anak usia sekolah dasar. | |||||||||
