Abstract

In this study, researchers will examine the implementation of loose parts media in early childhood learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques: observation research, interviews, documentation and field notes. The subjects of this research were the principal, teachers and group B children (aged 5-6 years) at Shafa Marwah Kindergarten, Serang Regency. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research aims to determine the planning, implementation and assessment of learning implementation using loose parts media. The research results show that: 1) learning planning in the implementation of loose parts media consists of preparing the learning unit curriculum (KSP), annual programs (intracurricular, koculicular, semester programs, organizing learning, namely teaching modules. 2) the implementation of loose parts media in learning has been implemented well, children are given complete freedom to play and learn with loose parts media so that the learning atmosphere becomes interesting and fun. 3) assessment of the implementation of loose parts media using checklist techniques (daily), anecdotal notes (weekly), work results and documentation.

Additional Information: Pada penelitian ini peneliti akan meneliti mengenai implementasi media loose parts dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data penelitian observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, guru, dan anak kelompok B (usia 5-6 tahun) di TK Shafa Marwah Kabupaten Serang. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan asesmen dari implementasi pembelajaran menggunakan media loose parts. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) perencanaan pembelajaran dalam implementasi media loose parts terdiri dari penyusunan kurikulum satuan pembelajaran (KSP), program tahunan (intrakurikuler, forkurikuler, program semester, pengorganisasian pembelajaran yaitu modul ajar. 2) pelaksanaan media loose parts dalam pembelajaran sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik, anak diberi kebebasan sepenuhnya dalam bermain dan belajar dengan media loose parts sehingga suasana pembelajaran menjadi menarik dan menyenangkan. 3) asesmen dari implementasi media loose parts menggunakan teknik ceklis (harian), catatan anekdot (mingguan), hasil karya dan dokumentasi.
