Abstract
This study aims to improve the initial reading ability of students with learning difficulties in reading in grade VI at SD Negeri Rocek 3 by using educational game application learning media. The research method used in this study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research method with a single subject / Single Subject Research (SSR). The research design uses an A-B-A reversal design. The subjects of this study were grade VI students at SD Negeri Rocek 3 with the condition that students had difficulty in reading the beginning of capital consonants. The data collection technique used was a test. The data analysis used was descriptive statistics with a presentation presented in the form of graphs in this study. The results of the study were obtained at baseline-1 where the initial condition / natural condition of the subject obtained a result of 33.33%, then in the intervention phase (B) obtained a result of 84.16%, and in the final condition / baseline-2 (A2) obtained a result of 70%. The percentage of overlap data in the intervention phase (B) to the baseline-1 phase (A1) and in the baseline-2 phase (A2) to the intervention phase (B) is 0% and increases in the analysis between conditions in the intervention with Baseline-2, which is 20%. Overall, it can be concluded that the use of educational game application media can improve early reading skills in children with difficulty learning to read in grade VI at SD Negeri Rocek 3.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kesulitan belajar membaca kelas VI di SD Negeri Rocek 3 dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran aplikasi game edukasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan subjek tunggal / Single Subjek Researc (SSR). Desain penelitian menggunakan desain reversal A-B-A. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VI di SD Negeri Rocek 3 dengan kondisi siswa kesulitan dalam membaca permulaan pada huruf konsonan kapital. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes. A nalisis data yang digunakan berupa statistik deskriptif dengan penyajian yang dituangkan dalam bentuk grafik pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada baseline-1 dimana kondisi awal/kondisi alamiah subjek memperoleh hasil 33,33 %, kemudian pada fase intervensi (B) memperoleh hasil 84, 16%, dan pada kondisi akhir/baseline-2 (A2) memperoleh hasil sebesar 70%. Persentase data overlap pada fase intervensi (B) ke fase baseline-1 (A1) dan pada fase baseline-2 (A2) ke fase intervensi (B) yaitu 0% dan meningkat pada analisis antar kondisi pada intervensi dengan Baseline-2 yaitu 20%. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan penggunaan media aplikasi game edukasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak berkesulitan belajar membaca kelas VI di SD Negeri Rocek 3. | |||||||||
