Abstract
Intellectually retarded children are children who experience deficits in intellectual function which can cause physical and motor disorders. Motor skills are defined as the development of elements of maturity in controlling body movements and the brain as the center of movement, one of which is fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are important motor skills for humans because fine motor skills have functions, namely self-help skills, social help skills, play skills and school skills. Therefore, mentally retarded children who have physical and motor disorders need to be given appropriate learning to improve fine motor skills, one of which is by learning balloon-forming skills. This research aims to improve the motor skills of mentally retarded students by learning balloon forming skills. The approach used in this research is the One Group Pretest and Posttest Design Pre-experiment and the data obtained was processed using the Wilcoxon test with the subjects of this research being the mentally retarded students at SDN Sudimara Timur 2, totaling 4 people. The data collection technique used is a test. Based on analysis using the Wilcoxon test formula, it shows that Tcount= 0 and based on the critical value for the Wilcoxon test at a significance level of 0.05 with a total of N= 4, Ttable = 2.92, then HO is rejected because Tcount<Ttable, meaning the hypothesis proposed in In this research, the skill of forming balloons has been proven to have an effect on improving the fine motor skills of mentally retarded students.

Additional Information: | Anak tunagrahita merupakan anak yang dihadapi oleh defisit fungsi intelektual yang dapat menimbulkan gangguan fisik dan motorik. Motorik berarti perkembangan dari komponen kematangan pengendalian gerak badan dan otak selaku pusat gerak salah satunya adalah motorik halus. Motorik halus didefinisikan keterampilan motorik yang penting bagi manusia karena motorik halus memiliki fungsi yaitu keterampilan bantu diri, keterampilan bantu sosial, keterampilan bermain, dan keterampilan sekolah. Oleh sebab itu anak tunagrahita yang memiliki gangguan fisik dan motorik perlu untuk diberikan pembelajaran yang sesuai guna memperoleh keterampilan motorik halus salah satunya melalui pembelajaran keterampilan membentuk balon. Capaian penelitian ini agar meningkatkan kemampuan motorik siswa tunagrahita melalui pembelajaran keterampilan membentuk balon. Pendekatan yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini yakni Pre-eksperimen One Group Pretest and Posttest Design dan data yang diperoleh diolah dengan uji Wilcoxon dengan subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa tunagrahita di SDN Sudimara Timur 2 yang berjumlah 4 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan adalah bentuk tes. Berlandaskan hasil rumus uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa Thitung= 0 dan berdasarkan nilai kritis guna uji wilcoxon pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05 dengan jumlah N= 4 diperoleh Ttabel= 2,92, maka HO ditolak karena Thitung< Ttabel, yang berarti hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pembelajaran keterampilan membentuk balon terbukti berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus siswa tunagrahita. | |||||||||
