Abstract
Learning motivation is very important because it makes students enthusiastic in learning. Learning motivation is something that students need in the learning process. However, currently, student learning motivation is still in the spotlight. Lack of student learning motivation makes students not focus when the teacher explains the material so that students do not understand the material and get poor learning outcomes. For this reason, there is a need for a strategy for teachers to create an interesting learning atmosphere, one of which is using interesting teaching materials, namely the Science E-Magazine. The purpose of this study was to develop and determine the level of validation and student response to the developed Science E-Magazine. The method in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model but only until the implementation stage, namely until the student response test process. The overall results of expert validation obtained a percentage value of 87% with a category of “very high” validity level carried out by validators of teaching materials and materials. As well as getting student response results of 88.2% with a very good category. With this, the Science E-Magazine on ecosystem material can facilitate motivated to learn and understand the material seeing from the results of product validation and student responses.

Additional Information: | Motivasi belajar merupakan hal yang sangat penting karena membuat siswa semangat dalam belajar. Motivasi belajar menjadi suatu hal yang dibutuhkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun saat ini, motivasi belajar siswa masih menjadi sorotan. Kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa membuat siswa tidak fokus pada saat guru menjelaskan materi sehingga siswa tidak memahami materi dan mendapatkan hasil belajar yang kurang baik. Untuk itu, perlu adanya strategi bagi guru untuk menciptakan suasana belaajr yang menarik, salah satunya menggunakan bahan ajar yang menarik yaitu E-Magazine IPA. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui tingkat validasi serta respon siswa terhadap E-Magazine IPA yang dikembangkan. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE namun hanya sampai tahap implementasi, yakni sampai pada proses uji respon siswa. Hasil keseluruhan validasi ahli mendapatkan nilai persentase sebesar 87% dengan kategori tingkat kevalidan “sangat tinggi” yang dilakukan oleh validator materi dan bahan ajar. Serta mendapatkan hasil respon siswa sebesar 88,2% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan ini, E-Magazine IPA pada materi ekosistem dapat membuat siswa termotivasi untuk belajar dan memahami materi melihat dari hasil validasi produk dan respon siswa. | |||||||||
