Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low students' creative thinking abilities and the lack of teaching materials that can be used by teachers in the learning process. Based on the problem analysis, i be develop a treffinger-based interactive e-catalog theme of hot clouds during volcanic eruptions. This study aims to obtain the validity results and student responses to the developed Treffinger-based interactive e-catalog. The research method used is the Research & Development (R&D) research method. Using the 4D development model from Thiagarajan, only three stages were carried out: definition, design, and development. In the validity test, the instrument used was a validation questionnaire for experts and practitioners. Meanwhile, in the small-scale limited trial stage, a student response questionnaire was used. Data analysis is done descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the overall value of the validation results based on the average percentage of material experts, media experts, and practitioners was 90.0% with the category "Very Valid". Meanwhile, the overall value of the results from student responses was 85.5% with the category "very good". This shows that this Treffinger-based interactive e-catalog can be used in learning because it has been adapted to the Treffinger syntax and indicators of creative thinking abilities, so this interactive e-catalog can be further tested at the disseminate stage.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini didasari permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dan kurangnya bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis masalah maka dikembangkanlah e-katalog interaktif berbasis treffinger tema awan panas pada letusan gunung berapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hasil validitas dan respon siswa terhadap e-katalog interaktif berbasis treffinger yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian Research & Development (R&D). Dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D dari Thiagarajan hanya dilaksanakan sampai 3 tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Pada uji kevalidan. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar angket validasi ahli dan praktisi. Sedangkan pada tahap uji coba terbatas skala kecil menggunakan lembar angket respon siswa. Analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keseluruhan hasil validasi berdasarkan persentase rata-rata dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi yaitu sebesar 90,0% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Sedangkan nilai keseluruhan hasil dari respon siswa sebesar 85,5% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa e-katalog interaktif berbasis treffinger ini dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran, karena telah disesuaikan dengan sintaks treffinger dan indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif, sehingga e-katalog interaktif ini dapat diujicobakan lebih lanjut pada tahap disseminate.
