Abstract
This study aims to describe the affixation process for forming verbs and the grammatical meaning of affixation in Sundanese Baduy dialect. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data were analyzed using observation techniques, interview techniques, recording techniques, and listening and note-taking techniques. The data sources in this study came from the oral speech of Baduy informants. The data findings produced in this study as a whole amounted to 22 data that underwent the affixation process along with their types. The speech data of Baduy people that underwent the affixation process can be detailed as follows: (1) prefix affixation as many as 8 data; (2) suffix affixation as many as 8 data; (3) confix affixation as many as 6 data.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses afiksasi pembentuk verba dan makna gramatikal afiksasi dalam bahasa sunda orang Baduy Luar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dianalisis dengan teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, teknik rekam, dan teknik simak dan catat. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdapat dari tuturan lisan informan orang Baduy. Temuan data yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini secara keseluruhan berjumlah 22 data yang mengalami proses afiksasi beserta jenisnya. Data tuturan orang Baduy yang mengalami proses afiksasi dapat diperinci sebagai berikut: (1) afiksasi prefiks sebanyak 8 data; (2) afiksasi sufiks sebanyak 8 data; (3) afiksasi konfiks sebanyak 6 data. | |||||||||
