Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi hard skill dan disiplin preventif terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variable intervening (studi kasus Balai Penjamin Mutu Pendidikan Provinsi Banten). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kausalitas yaitu hubungan sebab akibat yaitu satu variable dengan variabel lainnya. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 70 pegawai BPMP Provinsi Banten. Metode analisis data menggunakan deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara, kuisioner, dan studi pustaka.tehnik analisa data yang digunakan yaitu dengan analisis Structural Equation Model (SEM) yang menggunakan software SmartPLS 4. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi hard skill berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Disiplin preventif berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kompetensi hard skill berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Disiplin preventif berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Additional Information: This study aims to test and analyze the influence of hard skill competencies and preventive discipline on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable (case study of the Banten Provincial Education Quality Assurance Center). This study uses the causality method, namely the causal relationship, which is one variable with another. The number of samples in this study was 70 employees of BPMP Banten Province. The data analysis method uses descriptive and inferential analysis. The data collection method in this study was carried out by interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies.the data analysis techniques used were by Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis using SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that hard skill competency has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Preventive discipline has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Hard skill competency has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Preventive discipline has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee performance.
