Abstract
The general aim of this research is to test and analyze the mediating role of achievement motivation on the influence of employee transfers and internal communication on employee performance at KPP Pratama West Serang. The population in this study was all employees at KPP Pratama West Serang, totaling 90 people using employee data for 2024. Sampling used census techniques or saturated samples. The data in this research was taken using a questionnaire and analyzed using a quantitative method called Partial Least Square (PLS) and processed using the SmartPLS software program version 4. Testing the validity and reliability of the questionnaire was carried out using the SPSS software program version 25. The results of the research showed that employee transfers significant positive effect on employee performance, internal communication has a significant positive effect on achievement motivation, employee transfers have a positive but not significant effect on achievement motivation, achievement motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, achievement motivation does not mediate the effect of employee transfers on employee performance, and achievement motivation able to mediate the influence of internal communication on employee performance.

Additional Information: | Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah menguji dan menganalisis peran mediasi motivasi berprestasi pada pengaruh mutasi pegawai dan komunikasi internal terhadap kinerja pegawai di KPP Pratama Serang Barat. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai di KPP Pratama Serang Barat yang berjumlah 90 orang dengan menggunakan data pegawai tahun 2024. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sensus atau sampel jenuh. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan metode kuantitatif yang disebut Partial Least Square (PLS) dan diolah dengan software program SmartPLS versi 4. Pengujian validitas dan realibilitas kuesioner dilakukan dengan menggunakan software program SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mutasi pegawai berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, komunikasi internal berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap motivasi berprestasi, mutasi pegawai berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap motivasi berprestasi, motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi berprestasi tidak memediasi pengaruh mutasi pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan motivasi berprestasi mampu memediasi pengaruh komunikasi internal terhadap kinerja pegawai. | |||||||||
