Abstract
This research is research that aims to determine The Effect of Trait and Factor counseling on career decisions of Vocational High School (SMK) students. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 6 Pandeglang which is located in Banten province. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a research design, namely nonequevalent control group design. There were 2 groups in this study, namely the experimental group and the control group. Both groups in this study were given a pre-test and post-test, but only the experimental group received the Trait and Factor counseling treatment. Researchers used classes XI PPLG 1, XI PPLG 2, XI TJKT 1, and XI TJKT 2 as the population in this study. The research sample consisted of 12 students with low career decisions, where the sample was obtained using purposive sampling techniques. In this study, researchers used a Likert scale questionnaire as a data collection method. The tests carried out in this research are validity testing, reliability testing, N-Gain Score testing, and hypothesis testing. Based on the hypothesis test that was carried out via SPSS 27 using the Mann-Whitney-U test, the Asymp.sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) = 0.04, then the value is <0.05, which indicates that Trait and Factor Counseling influences the career decisions of Vocational High School (SMK) students.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling Trait and Factor pada keputusan karir Siswa Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 6 Pandeglang yang bertempat di provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu nonequevalent control group design. Terdapat 2 kelompok pada penelitian ini, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kedua kelompok pada penelitian ini diberikan pre-test dan post-test, namun yang mendapatkan perlakuan (treatment) konseling Trait and Factor hanyalah kelompok eksperimen saja. Peneliti menggunakan kelas XI PPLG 1, XI PPLG 2, XI TJKT 1, dan XI TJKT 2 sebagai populasi dalam penelitian ini. Adapun sampel penelitian berjumlah 12 orang siswa dengan keputusan karir rendah dimana sampel tersebut diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan instrumen angket/kuisioner skala likert sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Uji yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji N-Gain Score, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan melalui SPSS 27 dengan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney-U maka diperoleh hasil nilai Asymp.sig. (2-tailed) = 0,04 maka nilai tersebut adalah <0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa Konseling Trait and Factor berpengaruh pada keputusan karir karir siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). | |||||||||
