Abstract

This research is based on the importance of emotional intelligence in students. Not only intellectual intelligence but emotional intelligence is also equally important. This research aims to provide an overview of the affective learning strategy of the consideration model in developing students' emotional intelligence and its impact. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, the data used are interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects studied were teachers as class IV homeroom teachers and class IV students at SDN Citangkil Baru, Cilegon City. The results of this research are the teacher's efforts to develop students' emotional intelligence with affective learning and with affective learning strategy learning steps. The impact of the affective learning model of consideration is improving students' social skills, cultivating an attitude of tolerance, increasing positive thought patterns such as being responsible, working together, caring for each other.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini didasari pada pentingnya kecerdasan emosional pada peserta didik. Bukan hanya kecerdasan intelektual saja tetapi kecerdasan emosional juga sama hal pentingnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang strategi pembelajaran afektif model konsiderasi dalam pembinaan kecerdasan emosional peserta didik beserta dampaknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek yang diteliti adalah guru sebagai wali kelas IV dan peserta didik kelas IV di SDN Citangkil Baru Kota Cilegon. Hasil dalam penetitian ini adalah upaya guru dalam membina kecerdasan emosional peserta didik dengan pembelajaran afektif dan dengan langkah-langah pembelajaran strategi pembelajaran afektif. Dampak dari pembelajaran afektif model konsiderasi adalah meningkatkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik, penanaman sikap toleransi, meningkatkan pola pikir yang positif seperti dapat bertanggung jawab, gotong royong, saling peduli.
