Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan mengenai rendahnya tingkat kemampuan membaca permulaan pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia peserta didik di kelas 1 SD Negeri Cigoong 3 Kota Serang sehingga untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik. Media pembelajaran Card Sort diyakini mampu berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik pada pembelajaran bahasa indonesia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Cigoong 3 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh media Card Sort terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pra-experimental dengan jenis one group pretest posttest design. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik SD Negeri Cigoong 3 Kota Serang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas I A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Card Sort dan I B sebagai kelas kontrol yang diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa instrumen tes lisan kemampuan membaca permulaan. Hasil penelitian memberikan kesimpulan bahwa adanya pengaruh media Card Sort terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik

Additional Information: | This research is motivated by the problem of the low level of beginning reading ability in Indonesian language learning for students in grade 1 SD Negeri Cigoong 3 Serang City so that to overcome these problems, learning media is needed that can improve students' beginning reading ability. Card Sort learning media is believed to be able to influence in improving students' beginning reading skills in Indonesian language learning. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Cigoong 3 Serang City in the 2023/2024 school year which aims to see the effect of Card Sort media on students' beginning reading skills. The research method used in this research is pre-experimental with the type of one group pretest posttest design. This study involved two classes consisting of experimental and control classes. The population in this study were all students of SD Negeri Cigoong 3 Serang City. The samples of this study were class I A as the experimental class which was given treatment using Card Sort learning media and I B as the control class which was given treatment using conventional methods. The instrument used in this research is an oral test instrument of beginning reading ability. The results of the study concluded that there was an effect of Card Sort media on improving students' beginning reading skills. | |||||||||
