Abstract

Rawa Arum reservoir receive waste input from domestic, agriculture and tofu industry. This waste can be increase the nutrient of especially phosphate (P) and nitrate (N) and causing the eutrophication. The purpose of this research is to calculate trophic state of Situ Rawa Arum in Cilegon City based on Carlson Trophic State Index. This study was conducted on April to Mei 2017 at four station are, agriculture waste inlet, domestic waste inlet, center and outlet. Sampling was conducted in time series for three times within 15 days at 09.00- 11.00 am. The parameters observed were temperature, pH, DO, brightness, nitrate, phospate and chlorophyll-a. Rawa Arum quality condition have a value range of each observed parameter is varied. Temperature range 27.7-33.2ºC, pH 6.5-7.4, DO 1.291-5.463 mg/L, brightness 0.215-0.51 m, nitrate 3.726-6.23 mg/L, phosphate 0.431-0.984 mg/L, and chlorophyll-a 1.78-304.38 mg/m3. Parameters that have high concentrate are nitrate and phosphate. Trophic state of Situ Rawa Arum based TSI classified in heavyeutrofik to hypereutrofik with an average range 74.94-82.32.
