Abstract
This research aims to find out more deeply about Tradition Small wedding In Cipaeh Village, Gunung Kaler District, from a Social Action Perspective. The research method used by researchers in this research is descriptive qualitative using a critical study paradigm approach. In selecting informants, this research used techniques snowball sampling. The results of this research show that tradition small marriage is a tradition originating from the Betawi ethnic or tribe which was then made into a tradition by the people of Cipaeh Village, also a tradition small marriage Its existence is still maintained by the people of Cipaeh Village, even though its existence is believed to be a tradition that is threatened with extinction, but there are still some people who preserve this tradition because there is a value which is also recognized as a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation and has become (mindless) the people of Cipaeh Village itself. This cannot be separated from the existence of several factors such as supporting and inhibiting factors, for example: socio-cultural factors, economic factors, educational factors, and internal factors of society.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih mendalam mengenai Tradisi Kawin Cilik Di Desa Cipaeh Kecamatan Gunung Kaler, Dalam Perspektif Tindakan Sosial. Metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan paradigma studi kritis. Dalam pemilihan informan penelitian ini menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tradisi Kawin Cilik merupakan tradisi yang berasal dari etnis atau suku betawi yang kemudian dijadikan tradisi oleh masyarakat Desa Cipaeh, juga tradisi Kawin Cilik ini masih dipertahankan eksistensinya oleh masyarakat Desa Cipaeh walaupun keberadaannya dipercaya sebagai tradisi yang terancam punah, namun masyarakat masih ada beberapa yang melestarikan tradisi tersebut karena terdapatnya suatu nilai yang juga diakui sebagai tradisi yang sudah turuntemurun dan menjadi (kaprah) masyarakat Desa Cipaeh itu sendiri. Hal tersebut tidak lepas dari adanya beberapa faktor seperti faktor pendukung dan penghambat, contohnya: faktor sosial budaya, faktor ekonomi, faktor pendidikan, dan fator internal masyarakat. | |||||||||
