Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) program based on local wisdom through the Pencak Silat extracurricular in elementary schools. The main focus of the research is to understand the planning, implementation, evaluation, and results of student character after participating in this program. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The main informants include school principals, martial arts teachers, students and parents. Data was collected through interviews, observations and document analysis. The results of the research show that the P5 program planning has gone well, identifying relevant local wisdom values ​​to be taught to students. Regular evaluations are carried out to monitor student development in aspects of discipline, responsibility and respect, with results showing significant improvements in student character after participating in this program. The conclusion of this research shows that the P5 program based on local wisdom through the Pencak Silat extracurricular can effectively develop student character in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile. Recommendations for this research include strengthening teacher training, developing learning materials, and integrating the program in the school curriculum to expand its positive impact. Further research is recommended to measure the long-term effects of this program on student character development and the integration of local wisdom values ​​in formal education.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis implementasi program Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) berbasis kearifan lokal melalui ekstrakurikuler Pencak Silat di Sekolah Dasar. Fokus utama penelitian adalah untuk memahami perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan hasil karakter siswa setelah mengikuti program ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Informan utama meliputi kepala sekolah, guru silat, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan program P5 telah berjalan dengan baik, mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang relevan untuk diajarkan kepada siswa. Evaluasi rutin dilakukan untuk memonitor perkembangan siswa dalam aspek disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan rasa hormat, dengan hasil menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam karakter siswa setelah mengikuti program ini. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program P5 berbasis kearifan lokal melalui ekstrakurikuler Pencak Silat efektif dapat mengembangkan karakter siswa sesuai dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian ini mencakup penguatan pelatihan guru, pengembangan materi pembelajaran, dan integrasi program dalam kurikulum sekolah untuk memperluas dampak positifnya. Penelitian lanjutan direkomendasikan untuk mengukur jangka panjang efek dari program ini terhadap perkembangan karakter siswa dan integrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam pendidikan formal.
