Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of learning with the ethnoscience-based guided inquiry model and the ethnoscience-based engineering design process model on students' science process skills abilities, to determine the increase in the science process skills abilities of students who receive learning with the ethnoscience-based guided inquiry learning model and the ethnoscience-based learning model. ethnoscience-based engineering design process. Research in class IV of SD Negeri Serang 03, used an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design of the pretest-posttest two treatment design type. Quantitative data was obtained through science process skills tests. Data analysis used the N Gain test and t test and processed using the SPSS 29 program. The research results showed that: (1) there was a significant influence on the use of the ethnoscience-based Guided Inquiry learning model on students' science process skills (2) there was a significant influence on the use of the ethnoscience-based Engineering Design Process learning model on students' science process skills (3) there is an increase in students' science process skills when using the ethnoscience-based Guided Inquiry learning model, (4) there is an increase in students' science process skills when using the Engineering Design Process learning model ethnoscience-based, (5) there is no significant difference between the Science Process Skills of students who learn using the ethnoscience-based Guided Inquiry learning model and students who use the ethnoscience-based Engineering Design Process learning model, (6) there is no difference in the increase in Science Process Skills students who learn using the ethnoscience-based Guided Inquiry learning model with students who use the ethnoscience-based Engineering Design Process learning model significantly.

Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran dengan model guided inquiry berbasis etnosains dan model engineering design process berbasis etnosains terhadap kemampuan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik, mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbasis etnosains dan model pembelajaran engineering design process berbasis etnosains. Penelitian di kelas IV SD Negeri Serang 03, menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen semu berjenis the pretest-posttest two treatment design. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui tes keterampilan proses sains. Analisis data menggunakan uji N Gain dan uji t serta diolah menggunakan program SPSS 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penggunaan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry berbasis etnosains terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penggunaan model pembelajaran Engineering Design Process berbasis etnosains terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik (3) terdapat peningkatan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik pada penggunaan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry berbasis etnosains, (4) terdapat peningkatan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik pada penggunaan model pembelajaran Engineering Design Process berbasis etnosains, (5) tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara Keterampilan Proses Sains peserta didik yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry berbasis etnosains dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Engineering Design Process berbasis etnosains, (6) tidak terdapat perbedaan peningkatan Keterampilan Proses Sains peserta didik yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry berbasis etnosains dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Engineering Design Process berbasis etnosains secara signifikan.
