Abstract
Laparotomy is a surgical procedure by cutting the layers of the abdominal wall to get the abdominal organ that has problems. Cases of intestinal obstruction, chronic intestinal inflammation, inguinal hernia, perforated appendicitis , colon and rectal cancer, gastric cancer, cholecystitis, and peritonitis are cases of laparotomy surgery. In laparatomy surgery cases of infection are often found in the surgical area, so infection prevention is needed to prevent complications. The purpose of this study is to describe nursing care to prevent infection risk in postoperative laparectomy patients with educational actions on hand hygiene, wound care, and evaluation of nutritional fulfillment. The research method used is a descriptive research with a case study design and the research subjects used are two post-laparotomy patients with infection risk problems. The results of the study showed that patient 1 and paient 2 experienced a reduction in infection rates with hand hygiene education, wound care, and nutritional evaluation. This was proven by the postoperative laparatomy wounds in patient 1 and patient 2 witth no signs of infection. The conclusion of this study was that hand hygiene education, wound care and nutritional evaluation can prevent the risk of infection.

| Additional Information: | Laparotomi merupakan tindakan pembedahan dengan penyayatan pada bagian lapisan-lapisan dinding abdomen untuk mendapatkan organ abdomen yang mengalami masalah. Kasus obstruksi usus, inflamasi usus kronis, hernia inguinalis, apendisitis perforasi, kanker kolon dan rektum, kanker lambung, kolestisitis, dan peritonitis merupakan kasus dilakukannya pembedahan laparotomi. Pada pembedahan laparatomi sering ditemukan kasus infeksi pada area operasi, sehingga diperlukan pencegahan infeksi agar tidak terjadi komplikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan asuhan keperawatan pencegahan risiko infeksi pada pasien post operasi lapartomi dengan tindakan edukasi kesbersihan tangan, woundcare, dan evaluasi pemenuhan nutrisi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus dan subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah dua pasien post laparotomi dengan masalah risko infeksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasien 1 dan pasien 2 mengalami penurunan tingkat infeksi dengan edukasi kebersihan tangan, perawatan luka dan evaluasi nutrisi. Hal ini dibuktikan luka post operasi laparatomi pada pasien 1 dan pasien 2 tidak ada tanda-tanda infeksi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa edukasi kebersihan tangan, perawatan luka dan evaluasi nutrisi dapat mencegah terjadinya risiko infeksi. | |||||||||
