Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the application of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) derived from bamboo roots and ZnO nano technology fertilizer on the growth of YM avocado (Persea americana Mill.) seedlings. This research was carried out at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Kampung Cikuya, Karangkitri, Sindangsari, Pabuaran, Serang Regency, Banten, from February to May 2024. The research used Randomized Block Design model consisting of two factors, the first factor was PGPR (P) with 4 levels, namely 0 ml/L (P0); 15 ml/L (P1); 30 ml/L (P2); and 45 ml/L (P3), and the second factor was nano ZnO fertilizer (Z) with 3 levels, namely 0 ml/L (Z0); 5 ml/L (Z1); and 10 ml/L (Z2). From these two factors, 12 treatment combinations were obtained with each combination repeated 3 times so that there were 36 experimental units. The results of the research showed that the treatment of PGPR from bamboo roots had an influence in increasing the number of leaves at 2 Weeks After Application (WAA) and 12 WAA, leaf area parameters at 12 WAA and leaf greenness at 12 WAA. The ZnO nanofertilizer treatment had an effect on plant height parameters at 6 WAA, 8 WAA, and 10 WAA, and leaf area parameters at 12 WAA. There was an interaction between the treatment of PGPR and nano technology ZnO on leaf greenness parameters at 12 WAA. However, for other parameters such as increase in plant height, increase in number of leaves, increase in stem diameter, leaf area, ratio of length and width of leaves and leaf area, there was no interaction.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) asal perakaran bambu dan pupuk berteknologi nano ZnO terhadap pertumbuhan bibit alpukat (Persea americana Mill.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Kampung Cikuya, Karangkitri, Desa Sindangsari, Kecamatan Pabuaran, Kabupaten Serang – Banten, yang dilakukan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan Mei 2024. Penelitian menggunakan model Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari dua faktor, faktor pertama menggunakan PGPR (P) dengan 4 taraf yaitu 0 ml/L (P0); 15 ml/L (P1); 30 ml/L (P2); dan 45 ml/L (P2), dan faktor kedua yakni pupuk nano ZnO (Z) dengan 3 taraf yaitu 0 ml/L (Z0); 5 ml/L (Z1); dan 10 ml/L (Z2). Dari kedua faktor tersebut diperoleh 12 kombinasi perlakuan dengan masing-masing kombinasinya dilakukan pengulangan sebanyak 3 kali segingga terdapat 36 satuan unit percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian PGPR asal perakaran bambu memberikan pengaruh pada parameter pertambahan jumlah daun 2 Minggu Setelah Aplikasi (MSA) dan 12 MSA, parameter luas daun 12 MSA, dan tingkat kehijauan daun 12 MSA. Perlakuan pemberian pupuk nano ZnO berpengaruh pada parameter pertambahan tinggi tanaman 6 MSA, 8 MSA, dan 10 MSA, dan parameter luas daun pada 12 MSA. Terdapat interaksi dari perlakuan pemberian PGPR asal perakaran bambu dan pupuk berteknologi Nano ZnO terhadap parameter tingkat kehijauan daun pada 12 MSA. Akan tetapi pada parameter lainnya seperti pertambahan tinggi tanaman, pertambahan jumlah daun, pertambahan diameter batang, luas daun, rasio panjang dan lebar daun serta luas daun tidak terdapat interaksi.
