Abstract

TikTok as a platform that combining elements of entertainment and commerce has attracted the attention of manyteenagers in Pipitan Village. The consumption patterns of teenage users of TikTok's social commerce is shaped using promotional methods using short video short videos in the form of product endorsements and live broadcast features. This phenomenon shows unique consumption patterns and requires an in-depth understanding of the consumption behavior of teenagers on this platform. of teenagers' consumption behavior on this platform. This research aims to find out and describe how consumption behavior in adolescents in teenagers in Pipitan Village who use TikTok social commerce through the analysis of Jean Baudrillard's theory of consumption society. The research method used qualitative research method with case study type. Data collection techniques in this study through observation, interviews and documentation. Focus on of this research are teenagers in Pipitan Village who use social TikTok commerce as an online shopping media. Data sources in this research data sources in this study were obtained from primary sources and secondary sources. The results of this research show 1) How TikTok's social commerce as an online shopping media, said to be a drugstore phenomenon, this platform also creates a simulation that influences the perception of teenagers' perceptions of the products sold, the products sold on this platform often contain certain signs or images. products sold on this platform often contain certain signs or images designed to attract teenagers 2) to attract the attention of teenagers 2) In carrying out consumption activities, teenagers in teenagers in Pipitan Village go through stages of consumption action which are divided into four stages into four stages, namely the impulse stage, perception, manipulation and consumption stages, 3) consumption stage, 3) The consumption behavior of teenagers in Pipitan Village who carry out consumption activities based on needs (needs) and desires (desires). besides that, teenagers in Pipitan Village also carry out consumption based on consumption signs where teenagers in Pipitan Village are characterized as teenagers with mature consumption and teenagers with instant consumption. with mature consumption and teenagers with instant consumption.

Additional Information: TikTok sebagai platform yang menggabungkan elemen hiburan dan perdagangan telah menarik perhatian banyak remaja di Kelurahan Pipitan. Pola konsumsi para remaja pengguna social commerce TikTok ini dibentuk menggunakan metode promosi dengan menggunakan video pendek berupa endors sebuah produk maupun fitur siaran langsung. Fenomena ini menunjukkan pola konsumsi yang unik dan memerlukan pemahaman mendalam terkait perilaku konsumsi remaja di platform ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana perilaku konsumsi pada remaja di Kelurahan Pipitan pengguna social commerce TikTok melalui analisis teori masyarakat konsumsi oleh Jean Baudrillard. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, wawancara dan dikumentasi. Fokus pada penelitian ini yaitu para remaja di Kelurahan Pipitan pengguna social commerce TikTok sebagai media belanja online. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari sumber primer dan sumber sekunder. Hasil penelian ini menunjukkan 1) Bagaimana social commerce TikTok sebagai media belanja online, dikatakan sebagai fenomena drugstore, platform ini pula menciptakan simulasi yang mempengaruhi persepsi para remaja terhadap produk yang dijual, produk yang dijual pada platform ini seringkali mengandung tanda atau citra tertentu yang dirancang untuk menarik perhatian para remaja 2) Dalam melakukan kegiatan konsumsi, para remaja di Kelurahan Pipitan melalui tahapan tindakan konsumsi yang terbagi menjadi empat tahap yaitu tahap impuls, persepsi, manipulasi dan tahap konsumsi, 3) Perilaku konsumsi remaja di Kelurahan Pipitan yang melakukan kegiatan konsumsi berdasarkan kebutuhan (needs) dan keinginan (desire) selain itu juga remaja di Kelurahan Pipitan melakukan konsumsi didasarkan oleh konsumsi tanda dimana remaja di Kelurahan Pipitan dikarakteristikan menjadi remaja dengan konsumsi matang dan remaja dengan konsumsi instan.
