Abstract
The people of the Outer Baduy Tribe are famous for their harmonious relationship with nature and the surrounding environment. By using the Intercultural Communication Theory, Dialogical Theory and Social Ecology Theory and using a qualitative approach to explore information from resource persons involved in the extension process. This research focuses on the application of environment-based da'wah in the context of the Outer Baduy Tribe, the challenges and opportunities faced, and the social ecology theory. | Additional Information: | Masyarakat Suku Baduy Luar terkenal karena keharmonisan hubungan mereka dengan alam dan lingkungan sekitar. Dalam menjaga keseimbangan ini, dakwah memegang peranan penting. Mayoritas penduduk Suku Baduy menganut kepercayaan animisme dan dinamisme, meyakini kekuatan gaib dalam alam dan leluhur. Pada tahun 1987, lebih dari 80 orang Baduy memeluk Islam, tertarik dengan prinsip moral dan ajaran Islam yang menjanjikan kehidupan lebih baik. Seiring waktu, semakin banyak orang Baduy yang ingin memeluk Islam. Kampung Mualaf Lembah Barokah Ciboleger menjadi salah satu tempat yang memberikan dukungan bagi para mualaf Baduy yang ingin menjalani kehidupan sebagai Muslim. Dengan menggunakan Teori Komunikasi Antar Budaya, Teori Dialogis dan Teori Ekologi Sosial serta menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menggali informasi dari nara sumber yang terlibat dalam proses penyuluhan tersebut. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan dakwah berbasis lingkungan dalam konteks Suku Baduy Luar, tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi, serta dampaknya terhadap relasi harmonis antara pendakwah dan masyarakat. Pendekatan dakwah berbasis lingkungan di Suku Baduy Luar diterapkan dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dan tradisi lokal yang menghargai alam. Dampak dari pendekatan ini adalah peningkatan kepercayaan dan keterbukaan antara pendakwah dan masyarakat, serta kolaborasi yang lebih erat dalam kegiatan pelestarian lingkungan, yang semuanya berkontribusi pada relasi harmonis yang lebih kuat. | |||||||||
