Abstract

This research is lies in land preparation work that uses heavy equipment which require intensive work of heavy equipment, therefore the number of heavy equipment used must also be considered so that the total costs incurred are more economical and relatively shorter duration of work. This research aims to optimize the cost of using the heavy equipment used with the help of LINDO software tools to find out alternatives with the most optimal total costs and work duration. The research results show that the productivity of the excavator is 131,413 m3/hour, the dump truck (dispose) is 21,237 m3/hour, the dump truck (backfill) is 23,291 m3/hour, the bulldozer is 161,182 m3/hour, and the vibro roller is 150,178 m3/hour. Excavator operational costs are Rp. 634,250/hour, dump truck Rp. 1,950,000/day, bulldozer Rp. 918,750/hour, and vibro roller Rp. 620,750/hour. The most optimal alternative for cutting work is alternative 5, because this alternative has a fast duration of 24 days and a low total cost of Rp. 1,172,928,000. The heavy equipment in alternative 5 is 3 units of excavator and 17 units of dump truck. Meanwhile, for filling work, the most optimal alternative is alternative 7, because this alternative has a fast duration of 94 days and the cheapest total cost, namely Rp. 11,562,680,000. The heavy equipment in alternative 7 is 3 units of bulldozers, 33 units of dump trucks, and 6 units of vibro rollers.

Additional Information: Penelitain ini terletak pada pekerjaan penyiapan lahan yang menggunakan alat berat secara intensif, oleh karena itu jumlah alat berat yang digunakan juga harus dipertimbangkan supaya biaya total yang dikeluarkan lebih ekonomis dan durasi pekerjaan yang relatif lebih singkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimasi biaya penggunaan alat berat yang digunakan dengan bantuan alat bantu perangkat lunak LINDO untuk mengetahui alternatif dengan biaya total dan durasi pekerjaan yang paling optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa produktivitas excavator sebesar 131,413 m3/jam, dump truck (dispose) sebesar 21,237 m3/jam, dump truck (backfill) sebesar 23,291 m3/jam, bulldozer sebesar 161,182 m3/jam, dan vibro roller sebesar 150,178 m3/jam. Alat berat pada alternatif 5 ini yaitu excavator 3 unit dan dump truck 17 unit. Sedangkan untuk pekerjaan timbunan alternatif yang paling optimum adalah alternatif 7, karena alternatif tersebut memiliki durasi yang cepat yaitu 94 hari dan dengan biaya total paling murah yaitu Rp.11.562.680.000. Alat berat pada alternatif 7 ini yaitu bulldozer 3 unit, dump truck 33 unit, dan vibro roller 6 unit.
