Abstract
The study discusses the use of journalistic language in news on the Itjen Kemendikbudristek website. The Itjen Kemendikbudristek website is a website that functions to inform activities, programs, and policies to the community. Therefore, the news on this website must meet good journalistic standards because it aims to provide useful information to the general public, not just for internal interests. The use of appropriate journalistic language is essential to ensure information is conveyed clearly and accurately. This study aims to determine the use of journalistic language in news on the itjen.kemdikbud.go.id website. The method used is quantitative content analysis, with the categorization of the test tool using the principles of Rosihan Anwar’s journalistic language, which is short, concise, clear, and interesting. The analysis was conducted on 54 news that became the research sample. The results showed that the short principle tends to be applied by omitting coupler words or prepositions (49%), while the solid principle with the loading of 5W+1H elements (99%). Then, the clear principle tends to be applied with the writing of sentences containing the SPOK pattern (100%), while the interesting principle is more applied with the use of vivid and new words (38%).

Website Itjen Kemendikbudristek adalah situs web yang berfungsi untuk menginformasikan kegiatan, program, dan kebijakan kepada masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, berita di website ini harus memenuhi standar jurnalistik yang baik karena bertujuan memberikan informasi yang berguna bagi masyarakat umum, bukan hanya untuk kepentingan internal. Penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik yang tepat menjadi sangat penting untuk memastikan informasi disampaikan dengan jelas dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik dalam berita di website itjen.kemdikbud.go.id. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi kuantitatif, dengan kategorisasi instrumen analisis menggunakan prinsip bahasa jurnalistik Rosihan Anwar, yaitu singkat, padat, jelas, dan menarik. Analisis dilakukan pada 54 berita yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip singkat cenderung diterapkan dengan menghilangkan kata perangkai atau preposisi (49%), sementara prinsip padat dengan pemuatan unsur 5W+1H (99%). Kemudian, prinsip jelas cenderung diterapkan dengan penulisan kalimat yang mengandung pola SPOK (100%), sedangkan prinsip menarik lebih banyak diterapkan dengan penggunaan kata-kata yang hidup dan baru (38%). | |||||||||
