Abstract

The research was aimed to know the best effect of Azolla compost and organic NPK for the growth and yield of celery plants. This research was conducted in Parigi Village Tanjungsari Village Pabuaran District Serang Regency Banten Province, from August until November 2023. The research used Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) of two factors and three replications. The first factor was the dosage of Azolla fertilizer with four levels, namely without adding Azolla compost (A0), 60 g/plant (A1), 90 g/plant (A2), 100 g/plant (A3). The second factor was the dosage of organic NPK fertilizer with four levels, namely without organic NPK fertilizer (R0), 10.2 g/plant (R1), 20.2 g/plant (R2), and 22.2 g/plant (R3). The results showed that Azolla 90 (A2) g/plant fertilizer gives a better effect on the parameters of plant height (30.99 cm), number of tillers (3.58 pieces), root length (10.68 cm), and plant wet weight (31.17 g). Plant residue raw material fertilizer 22.2 (R3) g/plant gave an effect on the parameters of plant height 4 weeks after transplanting (WAT) (18.38 cm), 5 WAT (21.18 cm), 6 WAT (23.20 cm), 7 WAT (25.54 cm), and plant wet weight (34.83 g). There was an interaction between Azolla fertilizer and plant residue raw material fertilizer only on plant wet weight parameter.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terbaik dari kompos Azolla dan organik NPK untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman seledri. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Parigi Desa Tanjungsari Kecamatan Pabuaran Kabupaten Serang Banten Provinsi, pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan November 2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Yang pertama Faktornya adalah dosis pupuk Azolla dengan empat taraf yaitu tanpa penambahan. Kompos azolla (A0), 60 g/tanaman (A1), 90 g/tanaman (A2), 100 g/tanaman (A3). Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk NPK organik dengan empat taraf yaitu tanpa pupuk organik NPK (R0), 10,2 g/tanaman (R1), 20,2 g/tanaman (R2), dan 22,2 g/tanaman (R3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk Azolla 90 (A2) g/tanaman memberikan hasil yang lebih baik berpengaruh terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman (30,99 cm), jumlah anakan (3,58 potongan), panjang akar (10,68 cm), dan berat basah tanaman (31,17 g). Residu tanaman mentahBahan pupuk 22,2 (R3) g/tanaman memberikan pengaruh terhadap parameter tanaman tinggi badan 4 minggu setelah tanam (WAT) (18,38 cm), 5 WAT (21,18 cm), 6 WAT (23,20 cm), 7 WAT (25,54 cm), dan berat basah tanaman (34,83 g). Ada sebuah interaksi antara pupuk Azolla dengan pupuk bahan baku sisa tanaman saja pada parameter berat basah tanaman.
